“This past week has been filled with work and although it’s fair to say we want to accomplish everything, sometimes we overlook our physical and mental health in order to do so.
So, @formyhomegirls asked where can one begin, so I am simply sharing 4 acts of self care you can do on the weekends in the morning because I know you will have a little extra time.
1. When you wake up, stretch and move. Gentle moving includes flexibility and proper alignment. It gently stimulates the muscles and internal organs.
2. Make up the bed after washing face and brushing teeth. Making up the bed reinforces that you make the little things in life easy without stressing, plus it keeps a clean and healthy environment for your wellbeing.
3. Reading, Bible study, Journaling or Tarot cards. You can do one or all three. Choose what you like, they all help with stimulating the brain and create inspiration with your personal emotions.
4. Exercise.... moving the body rhythmically and repeatedly helps tap into your intuition. The mind becomes available through your beautiful arms, legs, hearts and muscles. You learn to appreciate your body more and it helps awaken the alpha waves of the brain which enhances your intuition.
